I would like to switch from cable tv to dish if it means that I could watch the Shepherds Chapel 24 hrs.......rather than at 5 a.m. I just can't seem to find it on their channel menu. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

It come on my DirectV on channel 224 from 6am until 10am, but never have gotten it for 24 hours before. Love in Christ, sarah

C-Band satelite, Galaxy 4 R, Channel 16 is the only 24 hour broadcast that I am aware of. You can still find them for free(the BIG DISH) (Some people just want the big dish out of their yard) or inexpensively, most of the time. You get to watch documentaries daily as well as a variety of Bible Studies. It's reeaal goood!

Which cable or satellite networks can I find Pastor A. Murray?? Right now I have Charter cable and I find him on WATC 57 (13 in Gwinnett Co., GA) from 11pm-4am. Of course I am asleep during this time, but I like his study styly so much that I am awake many nights till 3 in the morning. LOL

Kim, sent you a message on here. I'm just north of you and the channel you watch on (Ch 57) is the best around here. He is on monday thru friday there at 1 in afternoon and that is the day before's live study. Also he is on Ch 57 from midnight to 6 am 7 days a week. So that is a pretty good bit for someone without the C band dish. But if you want to get off cable and get directv you can also get him on a channel there for a bit in the morning and they also carry ch 57 in our area on the local channels. So with directv and ch 57 you get him from midnight to 10 am monday thru friday and midnight to 6 am on weekends plus the 1 in afternoon live teaching. Thats pretty good compared to what some people get.......

I live in Ball Ground, Georgia and have Directv. He is on from 12 a.m. till 6 a.m. and at 1 p.m. as well. I know the feeling... I would stay up till the wee hours of the morning many times forcing my eyes awake (oh man I missed that, that was a very good study!!!) That was before... Now I have a receiver with a dvr built in from Directv, so now I record every showing throughout the week. There is one problem though and I don't know where it comes from, The listing will show the program title as Matthew, but when watching it'll be Luke or Exodus...all of them show this way. But hey I'm not complaining...Finally, I can rewind back to pay attention to something I missed. and watch four showings on one book at a time. If you are able to get a dvr believe me it's well worth it.

Hi everyone,
I'm considering getting Directv for SC. I was looking at the channels for each plan and I don't see a SCN channel or "Uplift" channel, however I do see "The Word". I don't want to order this and not have SC. I'm not sure of the area you live in to determine what channel it would be on. I'm in Georgia and I get SCN on local channel 57 from 12 a.m. till 6
a.m. then at 1p.m. during the day. I do have Directv and receive it in better clarity for the local channels. So my answer would be determined on if whether
you receive SCN on a local channel, then see if that channel would be available for Directv. As far as The Word, I don't know. The package I have is the
49.99 with DVR service. That would be my choice. With the DVR you can program it to record any program you
want and save it to keep or store up to a specific amount of showings at a time. How many times have you wanted to rewind P.M. for something you missed? Once
you have it, you'll never want to have anything other than a DVR. Plus you can record the shows onto DVD or VHS, if you have a recorder. With SCN on all
night here, it makes it so much easier to watch in the daytime, though I still watch as much as I can at night-LOL.
