Instructions For Posting a Picture ID by Wayjamus:


You might want to open a free account at:

If you're trying to use a picture off the internet, right click on it and then choose "Copy Image Location".

In your photobucket album, click on the "ADD PICTURE From URL" link. Clear out the h t t p / / from the box and paste in the address. Click ok twice. Then when the picture shows up in your album simply copy the URL address in the top box under the picture. Or if you're trying to upload a picture from your computer, make a note of where it's located in your computer and then go to your photobucket account and click on the "BROWSE" button.

Try "My Documents" as an example and look for your "MY PICTURES" folder.

Click on it and see if the picture you want to use is there. Hopefully it is or you may have do some searching before you find it. Nothing to worry about, just more time consuming.

Click on that picture when you find it. Make sure its name shows up in the box and then click "OPEN". It should end in something like .JPG

Wait a bit while the file uploads.

You should then see your picture loaded into your account.

Now under that picture, copy the location address in the top box labeled "URL"

Now go back to your control center at the Fig tree and click on the "Edit Profile" button.

Paste your picture location into the very top box labled "MY Photo"

Make sure the box marked "private" is NOT checked.

Go to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes".

I can't remember if my picture appeared immediately or if I had to log out and log back in for it to appear. You may even have to close your browser, come back online and re-login for it to appear. But you should be all set at this point.

And when you post, make sure that you check the box next to: "Include Personal Photo" at the bottom of the reply box when you post.

I don't think it's formatted to use emoticons in the siggy line. So you can simply take the URL of the image, go to the emoticons you like and right click over the image and get the URL path from the emoticon image you like.

The emoticon's DALTIZR picked are:

How to use:

Go to 'Account Preferences'
Look under 'Posting & Messaging'
Be sure to click the box 'Use Custom Signature'
Also tick the box 'HTML' Beneath the Signature Box
Click on 'Launch Tool' a pop up window will appear

This Formattting tool will map out your entire signature box using HTML. You simply drop in the text you want to use and then use the buttons on the panel to add features, like images, text style, colors and underlines etc.

Be careful though, too much tagging and it can be tricky.

To add your image to your signature, click on the 'Image' button and insert your URL Path.

When you are done cut and paste your code into your 'Signature Box' in your Account Preferences page.

You might have to try several times to see how this works, and you much repost a NEW POST to test each time, you cannot test by editing an old post, it won't show the changes.
