Turtle Nut Cake:
I box of German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. pkg. carmels
1/2 cup evaporated milk
6T butter melted
I cup chopped Pecans
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 can of Choc icing
Mix cake mix as reg. Pour half of mixture into, well greased pan,
@350 oven for 18 min.
while this is cooking...Take the carmels, milk, butter, as melting, put in Pecans. Stir!
The cake should now be cooling on counter.
Pour Carmel mixture over cake, then sprinkle the choc. chips over this. Then pour remaining cake batter over this return to oven, bake 20 min. cake should spring back. After it cools iced and put a little nuts or chips to decorate, if desire. Rest is History. Enjoy!
I used a burnt pan, worked well.
