I could use prayers for my brother. He has always had a good heart and been a genuine person. Recently he has fallen into the darkness of drugs. The over the counter and prescription drugs have taken him to a different and dark place. Last week his family and friends had an intervention with him and he has begun to see the error of his ways. Today we checked him in to a treatment program which is going to be a long road for him. He needs prayers and the love of God in his life right now so any spare prayers out there would be much appreciated. I pray that your brother gets well and that he gets eyes to see and ears to hear so that God can heal him and lift his self-imprisonment and personal hell. It sure is no way to have to live and it hurts and affects everyone. It truly is one of the cruelest things satan tempts humans with and ruins so many precious and promising lives. Prayers sent! I have been where you are. It is a terrible thing to watch someone you love turn into what they become when on drugs. Prescription drugs can be the worst, because they are so readily given, inexpensive, and legal. I think most who get hooked on them start out with good intentions. I mean they don't set out to "get high", but it sneaks up on them. They get a prescription for pain (i.e. migraines, broken leg, wisdom teeth, etc.) Then all of a sudden they're an addict. It breaks your heart. Your family is doing the right thing- tough love to get him the help he needs. Your brother will need your support and guidance and most of all forgiveness in the coming months. It may be pretty bumpy for a while. Usually people don't just clean up their act immediately. For most it takes a few times. Good luck. I will keep your family in prayers.

You are such an inspiration to so many others. Father is your potter, you are the clay and you allowed Him to use you for His will. Father is shining down on you for this right now! Thanks for being there my entire life and loving me the way you always have and for you being the one to finally lead me to God's truth after your long and relentless quest, when I had thought that we would never know God's truth and almost gave up ever figuring it out.
