Her speech was great tonight. I must say she was able to draw some emotion from this tired soul.yes that was a great speech, thanks to former White House speechwriter Matt Scully. For once I would like to hear the words from the person talking matter of fact I think they should not be allowed to have speech writers LOL we might not be so impressed if they had to write their own words and thoughts. but hey ..... thats politics oh and thanks for answering my question skooter

Before anyone judges Sarah Palin and says she has no experience, one should do their COMPLETE homework on her. She is more than qualified to be the VP. She
would probably be the best one ever. As for her ready to lead in the presidency, last nite you would of thought she was the presidential candidate and they are
pitting her against obama even more than her real rival, Biden. She has a higher standard to meet than any other VP candidate ever has. This woman is a LEADER
and a damn good one.
This is probably the most important presidential race in the history of this country and God is speaking, are we listening???? God is clearly giving us a choice. He is providing us with a type of each side to vote for, abomination vs God and country. Her telemprompter was not even working last nite and she had to improvise and ad lib her speech. She pulled it off without anyone ever knowing that she couldn't even read the speech. She is a real person, a God fearing, America loving person who has more executive experience than any candidate in this race. She figures extremely important in our future both politically and religiously. |

Oh yeah, her approval rating in her state as Governor is over 80%!!! That is unbelievable, the Alaskan Democrats even love her! Her impeccable record speaks
for itself. I wonder if Obama and Biden have over 80% approval rating in their states with both Dems and Repubs and they are only senators, somehow I seriously
doubt it. No I dont even doubt it, I know it is NOT SO! AMEN!!

Nigeria seizes money 'for Obama'
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it would give the money back to those who attended a gala dinner in Lagos last month. The EFCC said it had seized 74m naira ($630,000, £314,000), but said no Nigerian laws had been broken. US political parties are not allowed to receive contributions from abroad. Stock exchange chairwoman Ndi Okereke-Onyuike is also the head of Africans for Obama, a Nigeria-based support group. She was interviewed by the EFCC after media reports that the Obama campaign had disassociated itself from the group. Mrs Okereke-Onyiuke said in August there had been a misunderstanding in the press regarding the event. The money was going to be spent on adverts encouraging Nigerians in the US to vote for Mr Obama, she said. Tickets to the lavish event in Lagos on 11 August cost more than $21,000 (£11,000) for an eight-person table. "We never said we were going to donate money for the campaign," she said. "We paid for the hall and the entertainers and the surplus, we said would be spent on advertisements aimed at persuading Nigerians to tell their relatives in America to register to vote. "There is not one Nigerian who doesn't have a relative or friend in America. Our aim was to encourage those people to tell their family who have the right to vote in America to vote for Obama." Jealous Full-page adverts in major newspapers publicising the event did not mention what the organisers were planning to do with the money. Tickets to the gala dinner at the Muson Centre, usually used for conferences and trade shows, were split into two price ranges: "gold" and "platinum". Individual tickets for the more expensive platinum range cost $2,754 (£1,300) with an option to buy a "corporate" table sitting eight for more than $21,000. She said the press was trying to attack her because they were jealous of her success. "I am a woman of the highest integrity," she told the BBC News website. A statement form the EFCC said they had ordered Mrs Okereke-Onyuike to "steer clear of such activities in future".

I think our Father is VERY VERY much in control of this nomination for VP. Like I've said before I wasn't happy with McCain but that is who we got. And
then when you research him you can just see our Father's hand on him his whole life. Allowing things to happen to him to make him who he is. But he is
still a centrist... but a right wing man would probably kick against the pricks come time..... anyway, so when the men wouldn't step up and do the job the
Lord always had a lady ready... Its in the book. Read about it. So here we are, wondering about these men. And BOOM out of nowhere a lady from a town of 7000
yes 7 thousand comes on the scene. And where is she from? Alaska.... the place in the north that Russia will attempt one of their final deeds... MANY MANY more
things that I feel our Father is telling us here. I'm happy and not murmuring. God Bless her and John McCain. I'm on board and I want a smooth ride
instead of a bumpy one...

here is the reply I received: i excited lol use to hear dad get mad about big oil involve in goverment at juneau our place for state boss then hear him say palin here to get voted in to fight them and make real rules for taxes that are not influence by big oils imput then hear how she try clean up alaska politics and think that are neat to also needed lol so ya i are excite when hear she run for vice presidents :) have some hope now for goverment lol think she try get us alaska peoples some of the state coin gained from big oils taxes to help offset (whats that lol) cost of live increase when gas price more high that part of what i ask dad about when hear of palin any way she real neat i think and has a mom type goal i think to try help out in politics at least i think that or hope any ways :) take care~ stas/cats |

Glenn Beck interviewed Sarah Palin a while back (he was the only one) and we thought she was great then.........We think she will make a fantastic
Vice-President! Even the liberal dems I work with love her. She could really do some housecleaning in Washington. Go Sarah

well Bill, I am no fan of McCain (although I have respect for the service he has paid to this country) and I was sickened to know to cast a vote would mean he
was the only way to fish out of the right side of the boat, but I do feel Father has his hand on this woman and it only takes 1 Christian to make a HUGE
difference. We all know how it goes down and God's wrath and plan will be just as it is written, but America is clearly being shown a choice here with a
total type of the Antichrist and a campaign of at least 1 Christian. It may certainly may make a difference for Father to know there are some in this country
that still stand for God and country rather than an Abomination/Obamanation and that would ceratainly mean something to Father to know that there are some that
still love and honor Him and stand for Him in this nation that He has blessed so much.

sincerely trust my relationship with Father and no one else and nothing else. That is all I need, He takes care of the rest.

Thats ok too. Maybe one of us will rub his eyes and not see trees anymore but men walking. The truth will all come out one day. I'm not going to respond to

But man I just see SO much in this lady Sarah that I'm amazed and I'm going to go with my unction. I feel its not my unction but the Holy Spirit leading me. I just cannot see a coincidence when you see her name, Sarah and that she is from Alaska (and by the way on two points I'll say that that is what my Pastor teaches, and I believe him about Alaska and it being one of the places Russia attacks, and the other point I didn't say rightous man, I said right wing. There is a difference) and she's from a town of 7000. You just cant make that stuff up haha... read Newsweek magazine hahaha... and she actually played a state championship basketball game and sunk free throws to win the game. Obama talks the talk about basketball, haven't seen film of him winning a game. I saw the film of Sarah... and Obama walks out in a stadium and reads a speech and Sarah had to sort of hang in there with a teleprompter tearing up..... I'm not going to argue with you. I'll bow out of any debate. You win. Your right. You got it all figured out. I'm just a redneck WATCHING. But I know one thing. Obama or McCain will be the next President and if the Lord pats you on the back one day for not voting or voting for a 3rd candidate, I'll just have to ask for forgiveness. I dont think my Pastor has brought up agreeing with McCain on an issue on the Prophecy line for nothing. And I dont think Dennis taught about the man born to the concubine killing 70 of his brothers to try and be king for nothing either. I feel our Father has McCain on the ballot for a reason. He was not my choice. I didn't vote for him in the primary. But I am now.

After days of intense media coverage about Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's qualifications, more than 40 million Americans tuned in Wednesday to see for themselves what they thought of her. The huge audience for Palin's acceptance speech rivaled that for Obama's address at the Democratic National Convention six days earlier, and set a tough standard for the top of her own ticket. John McCain was to accept the GOP presidential nomination on Thursday. The first two days of the GOP convention essentially served as a build-up for Palin. The Alaska governor hadn't spoken publicly since McCain selected her for the ticket last Friday, as a series of stories circulated questioning whether McCain had properly vetted her. Her poised speech, primarily going after Obama and touting McCain's case for the presidency, was gushed over by many analysts. An audience of 37.2 million people watched Palin on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC, Nielsen Media Research said Thursday. PBS estimated its audience at 3.9 million, based on a less reliable sample of several big cities. Nielsen does not count the audience for C-SPAN, which also showed the speech. Last week, Nielsen said 38.4 million people watched Obama speak at a Denver stadium on the six commercial networks, along with BET, TV One, Univision and Telemundo - four networks that didn't cover Palin's speech. PBS added an estimated 4 million to that total. Nearly 2 million more women were watching Palin than men, Nielsen said. Viewers were far more interested in Palin than Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden. Biden's speech to Democrats last week was seen by an estimated 24 million people. The audiences for the Obama and Palin speeches were bigger than the ones this year for the Academy Awards, the finale of "American Idol" or the Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing. Nearly 120 million Americans voted in the 2004 presidential election and numbers could be higher this year because of young and minority voters attracted to Obama, and renewed enthusiasm among Republicans for their ticket. Fox News Channel led the way Wednesday, with 9.2 million people watching Palin's speech on the cable channel. It was the third-largest audience in its history, behind only President Bush's speech on Iraq in March 2003 and a Bush-Kerry presidential debate in 2004. For each night of the GOP convention so far, Fox's audience has been bigger than any of the other cable or broadcast networks. That duplicates a feat accomplished at the 2004 Republican convention for Fox, the first time a cable network had outdrawn broadcasters for a major news event. NBC had 7.7 million viewers for Palin's speech, followed in order by CNN, ABC, CBS and MSNBC, Nielsen said. |
