I have always believed that the unpardonable sin was
not accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour,
then I heard PM say it quite differently. [please note that
I am not disparaging PM.]

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto
men.
32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. |

Thanks for your reply, Joyce and Mom.
Anyone else have anything to say about this subject? Where does it say that the unpardonable sin is refusing to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through the elect? I do not know where to begin looking. Would someone give me a clue? Thank you. I really don't understand it. If a person doesn't accept the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour, he/she is judged to be thrown into the lake of fire and will be instantly consumed. Non-acceptance seems to be unpardonable?!? tjs - vozorjustapot |

Greetings tjs,
Just to add a little info is all.
Mar 13:11 But when
they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given
you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
What is this
"hour" that is repeated over and over throughout our Father's
Word?

Hi Vozo,
Just keep in mind that Father will put his wrath down to prove to EVERYONE (including those that never believed in God or Christ or even had a chance of knowing truth) that he is our Lord our God and then we go into the millennium of 1000 years of teaching truth. If they dont get it by then, they will be thrown into the lake of fire forever. |

Hi Vozo,
Don't know if I am really adding anything to what has already been written but here goes... I Jn 5:16 16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. (KJV) What sin unot death is this? It would be the unpardonable sin. There can be no forgiveness for such a one, and therefore you should not pray or intercede
for that one.
How can one speak against the Holy Spirit? When the Holy Spirit gives you the Words when you are delivered up, and you don't speak them, that would be
unpardonable. The sin would be committed with full knowledge. It would be an act of treason.

STA said: How can one speak against the Holy Spirit? When the Holy Spirit gives you the Words when you are delivered up, and you don't speak them, that

Thank you, STA, that is comforting. I do wonder why a very elect would not speak the words the Holy Spirit gives him/her. Is it because they are too busy talking, or taking part in something worldly, OR, being tortured by the enemy to the breaking point?! I believe the Holy Spirit will give us the words in our minds and there will be no doubt from Whom the words come. As instructed, I will not worry about what I will say in that hour, nor think of it in advance. Okay, I still have the question which NO ONE has answered, about not accepting Jesus as Personal Saviour. That's how one ends up in hell I believe. So that sin is definitely unpardonable also. But when The Unpardonable Sin is talked about, it says 'The' so that makes it a one and only unpardonable sin. I may be beating a dead horse. If so, I apologize and will get on to other things. Thank to everyone for your answers. Have a great day! tjs - vozorjustapot |

Okay, I still have the question which NO ONE has answered, about not accepting Jesus as Personal Saviour. That's how one ends up in hell I believe. So that
sin is definitely unpardonable also.
after committing the unforgivable sin and you repent, it is unforgivable. REPENTANCE DOES NO GOOD. you could go your whole life and ask CHRIST forgiveness and your forgiven. or you could accept him in the millennium. the devil and his angles will not receive the forgivness of CHRIST because they didn't follow the instructions of john chapter 3. if you don't enter the flesh you can't enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. HOPE THIS HELPS IN THE DIFFERENCE. but your correct, there could be some that never accept CHRIST in this age and the age to come. if they never accept the son they will perish. john 3:16 who so ever believeth on him shall not perish, those who don't believeth on him shall perish. common sense. in CHRIST, yaka.
Jer 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Peter's denial | ||||||||||||||||||||

Could you all adress Peter's three denials. I know that our Lord asked Peter three times if he loved Him. Peter was forgiven. How may I explain to
someone Peter's denial in light of the elect not speaking. This question has come to me in conversation in the past and I feel that I did not answer very
well. All your help please.

Hi Vozo, The question HAS been answered. The unpardonable sin has no forgiveness. Even if you repented it would not be forgiven. I do not believe that an elect having full knowledge of Christ would or could commit the unpardonable sin. A person who does not believe accept Jesus Christ as Savior can repent right up to the final testing and judgment at the end of the millennium. Jesus came and died on the cross for that very reason-to bring Salvation to the world. That someone continues denying Christ is a choice one makes, as skooter said we have free will to accept or not accept.

Hi ToSee,
The Lord was telling Peter that satan was going to try his faith, or try to overthrow his faith. In otherwords Peter's faith was going to get a big
shake up.
Sadly, Peter was very human with human passions. He wanted to protect our Lord because he loved him. Peter still wasn't looking at the spiritual. He
still wasn't understanding the bigger picture. Peter is an example to us of our failings in the flesh and our strengths in the Spirit.
Peter's faith was also shook really bad when He denied the Lord. How awful if Peter had sunk into dispair and turned away forever.

- where do i begin? ------------------------------------------------------- RE (Peters denial) from: "ToSee" Could you all adress Peter's three denials. This question has come to me in conversation in the past and I feel that I did not answer very well. All your help please. Steve ------------------------------------------------------------------ -AGAPE- ToSee SC teaches Peter denied CHRIST ( - to show us what not to do) - "as an example" (if Peter "HERE" in these three instances), did not do this, - he would have also been brought before Pharisees. and then perhaps killed too (yet the CHURCH was to be founded upon this rock / little r) - through this one Simon-Peter and as STA has shown (Peter allowed the HOLY SPIRIT to speak through him), "when it was time to" - something else we each need to note ...for that day is fast apporaching ( - not setting dates) Peter SWORE he would not deny CHRIST
......what did CHRIST then say to this one? / See Luke 22:31-34 STA was kind enough to share the scriptures for us all (in a post above) - Peter was not accountable for this. ( - it was PROPHECY) Don

Thank you STA and Don,
I had explained this (the unpardonable sin) to another and their response back was the example of Peter thrice denial. I had explained that Peter was fulfilling prophesy as you spoke of Don, but I certainly did not have all the scriptures STA provided. Thanks again. |

Holy Spirit will tell us what to say at that time; if we say anything else like I don't know or claim to not know anything, this is the same as denying
him. If we deny we got anything to say because of perceived hurt or the threat of death if we said anything I could see it happen if one wasn't strong.
I came across something the other night about speaking to an predominately Arab crowd; There is a custom before speaking that might easy your mind when we have to approach Arab people no doubt we probably will. This is what is to be said: "According to the customs of the Arabs I ask for permission to speak freely with immunity". Then wait respectfully!! for the answer. This way you will get their attention; because they think we are dumb westerners that don't know their traditions and instead of wanting to cut our heads off they will listen. If you think about the book of Daniel and how Daniel approached Neb. the king, this is not too far from the truth. Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. (KJV) Hebrew 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him
Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
