Also called the remnant. Known of God in the 1^st earth age approved to serve in the 2^nd earth age. They know of the treason in the 1^st earth age and who lead the rebellion and how to identify him. We know the hurt that the Father had to endure seeing his children rebel. We are willing and ready to help. God shows his power through these people, He actively protects these ones for his service. Characteristics of the elect always seeking Him, God is always in the forefront of their minds, they are drawn of God, taught of God, chosen of God, they are conformed to the image of Christ, they are called 1^st fruits, 1^st born (predestined, called, justified, sanctified, foreordained. Always confronted by Satan and his own. To convince that there is a better way, or to attack with things of this world to bring us down. If anyone can find anything more that describes us I welcome your input. Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. To be truthful I don't know if I am of the elect or of the remnant only our Father knows for sure. I thought of His great pure love for His children and how He suffered in the first and this second age one can not help but weep in sadness thinking of what He goes through daily . Humbling for me, for you see He loved me so much He took a filthy rag, and a pi ss pot and turned it into a flower pot. I can only say being part of His plan would be an honor and so Humbling, Agape, Sis Marilyn Faith Alone (In Christ Jesus); Grace Alone (Through His shed Blood); Pro 24:3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: Pro 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. I'm just so increadibly happy to even think I'm "trying out" for a postion on His team. If in the end I'm just a fan in the stands with a JC jersey I will feel just as blessed. They Love the Father and his son Jesus the Christ. They Trust God and not man. They walk in Love. They Love the Truth. They hear the Truth. They Speak the Truth. They plant seeds of Truth. 2 John 1 1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; 2For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. 3Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. 5And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.
