I am currently needing some prayers from you guys for my son based on James 5:14
James 5:14 "If any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:"
My son is 24 years old with mental illness and has had it since he was 13 years old. He has always been spiritual and believes in God even as a young child. He is saved and baptized. Of course his mental illness has interfered in this many times and he has faced many difficulties even in his faith. Currently, he is studying God's word more regularly than ever before and Satan keeps throwing him curve balls the more my son studies. My son requires taking antipsychotic medication multiple times a day. He has been waiting for disability for 3 years after his medical bills got so out of control (topped over $25,000) that I could no longer pay them myself and he was no longer on my medical insurance because I couldn't insure him as a dependent because of his age. I can now no longer get him hospitalized when he has a manic episode/psychosis. The only thing that has kept him stable enough to stay out of the hospital is this last new medication he has started AND PRAYERS and he has been doing 100% better and he hasn't had to be in the hospital for over 2 years now. Just the other day I tried to get his prescriptions refilled through his prescription assistance plan and they have now cut him off because he has absolutely no income and they no longer provide medication to the total indigent. (More of satan's little dirty work, I'm sure, what kind of crap is this???) They want to go by my household income, which makes him not elligible. (I pray for all the ill and handicapped that are in this situation now, my son is just one of 100,000's) His medication is over 600 a month for me to purchase and I have no way to afford this. I also take care of my elderly father and every dime I make goes to run my household and take care of my disabled father's needs. I have nothing left over for anything, especially an expense like this. I need prayers for my son. Just yesterday my son asked me to annoint him and he wants to be healed. He is fragile with his mental state lately and I can see signs that his faith is starting to waiver and I believe this is his illness coming on because he is not getting his correct medication dose and he is beginning to lose his way. I need a miracle guys and I need the elders to come together and pray for my situation with my family. My son has also been trying to help a friend of his who has turned away from God. This young man has been doing bible studies with us and he is really coming along and I am seeing light come into a young person that once had none. This young man is metamorphasizing right before my eyes where I once thought it could never happen. It seems the more my son tries to help himself through God's word and the more we help this young man, the more troubles we are facing. I know who is behind this. I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers on behalf of my son and this young man and for my son's healing and a resolution to this problem from God's elect. His name is TJ. The other young man's name is Richard.
